RECLAIMiture is a unique Reclaimed timber furniture business, which prides itself on using 100% recycled, reclaimed timber.

 

After 10 years working as a carpenter renovating beach houses, and rebuilding piers and Jetties, Owner and Artisan at Reclaimiture, Alister, seized the opportunity to launch into his main passion for recycling timber often condemned to landfill and creating new pieces of furniture and home-wares from that revived timber.

 

A majority of the timber has been collected and stored from the many renovations, demolitions, and rebuilds that Alister was involved in over the past decade. Yet there is always another pile of timber that is about to be sent to landfill everyday on building and demolition sites all over the coast, so Reclaimiture is always salvaging what it can for the benefit of giving a new life to beautiful aged, mostly native timber.

With influences stemming from a life long interest in architecture, interior design, Engineering and fabricating.

 

With the ability to create 3D designs for the client, Reclaimiture can clearly communicate your piece before it is brought to life.   From a large dining table to a Scandinavian influenced childrens rocking horse, anything big or small is possible.
